The symptoms of HD

  • Stiffness or decreased movement
  • Weakness
  • Pulsating sensation
  • Tingling
  • Prolonged breathing pauses
  • Palpitations
  • Pressure or heaviness
  • Tightness
  • Low oxytocin level
  • Discomfort
  • Inability to move

...those are the symptoms of Hug Deprivation

    Thank you for drawing attention to this common, though not widely recognised, syndrome. People should be made more aware so that less cases go untreated!

  2. exactly! I read somewhere that humans need at least 4 hugs a day to live well (but I can't find it anymore)

  5. Wow that is a long time, but yeah actually while at uni I can go a fairly long time hugless! And people wonder what is wrong with the world!

    But then some people have gone all their adult life without a hug!

  6. yeah, you don't even see the weeks go by without hugging somebody. all you feel is this pressure, tightness and discomfort - that you eventually get used to :(
